Mark Russell
Mark Russell is a former journalist with experience working on newspapers in New Zealand, on London’s Fleet Street and in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, he worked as a journalist for the South China Morning Post and for the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Mark is the immediate Past President of the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association, a former past president of environmental education charity Leave No Trace New Zealand, and a trustee of The South West New Zealand Endangered Species Charitable Trust. He was the Asia New Zealand Foundation's first media travel grantee to Myanmar/Burma and is a previous director of strategic communications and media for the Foundation.
He is a former founding partner of leading New Zealand communications agency Ideas Shop and now owns a boutique communications agency, Hot Metal.
