Arshad Ali has a PhD from the Department of Politics, University of Otago, and now an associate professor. Previously, he worked as a Research Analyst at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR), Singapore and Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad. His areas of expertise are Pakistan's foreign and security policy, and regional and domestic politics.
