Sumit Ganguly is a Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he holds the Rabindranath Tagore Chair in Indian Cultures and Civilizations. He's a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
