Shao Wei completed her PhD study in media management at the University of Canterbury. Her research focuses on managing journalistic change when going digital is inevitable in news organisations.
Shao was a news anchor for a provincial station in China and a breaking news reporter for China Daily. She also worked as the online editor for Climate Debate Daily from 2013 to 2017.
