Kim Hang Pham Do
Kim Hang Pham Do is based in the School of Economics and Finance (Palmerston North) at Massey University. Her research works/expertise is in the areas of applied economics, integrated theoretical and empirical research, particularly in integrated modelling for agricultural economics and natural resource management, and analysing the interactions between ecological and social systems on economic growth and sustainable development.
Before joining Massey in 2004, she worked at Tilburg University, the Netherlands, where she received her PhD in economics. She also worked as a computer programmer at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT, Bangkok, Thailand), and as a researcher/lecturer at the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences before moving to the Netherlands in 1994. Having lived and worked in different places in the world and collaboration with overseas universities, she has also established several joint education-training programmes between Massey and four Vietnam Universities.
