Jenny is a 1.5 generation Kiwi Asian grown up in both Asia and New Zealand. Jenny is working on New Zealand major transport infrastructure and development projects to make New Zealand a more connected,prosperous, livaeble country. Half way through her BE/LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland she took an OE break in Shanghai in 2010 as part of the official New Zealand government team at the World Expo 2010, backpacking around SE Asia and subsequently worked on commercialisation and intellectual property projects with a number of Chinese firms and international enterprises from Asia and Europe. Since returning to New Zealand Jenny has continued to develop her experience and connections with Asia as a member of Asia New Zealand Leadership Network, New Zealand China Friendship Society and New Zealand Japan Business Council. Jenny serves on the boards of Engineers Without Borders New Zealand, UNICEF and the Aotearoa Youth Leadership Institute, and is an advisory board member of Infrastructure New Zealand emerging talent network.
