Impartiality

The Asia Media Centre will reflect a breadth and diversity of viewpoints. Where content is opinion-based, it will be clearly marked as such and its author(s) identified. Views expressed by commentators on this website do not necessarily reflect those of the Asia New Zealand Foundation.

We don't accept comments directly onto this website; however, if you would like to have a response to an opinion piece published, please contact us to discuss how to do so.

Editorial Integrity and Independence

The Asia Media Centre’s users should be confident our editorial decisions are not influenced by outside interests, political or commercial pressures, or any personal interests.

While funded by the Asia New Zealand Foundation, the Asia Media Centre has its own mission statement, objectives and measures of success.

Transparency

The Asia Media Centre will be transparent about the nature and sources of the content we offer online.  Where appropriate, we will identify who has created it and when.

Contributors will be asked to disclose any conflicts of interests relevant to any opinion pieces they provide, and these will be disclosed on the Asia Media Centre website.

Our outputs will be well-sourced and presented in clear, precise language.
