As a Philippines analyst for Washington D.C-based Freedom House, Camille contributed to the organisation’s 2022 landmark report on Beijing’s Global Media Influence. In 2024, she co-authored Unrequited Love: Duterte’s China Embrace (Ateneo University Press), an in‑depth examination of the Philippines’ pivot toward Beijing under former president Rodrigo Duterte—the publisher’s best‑selling title of the year.

Her reporting has taken her across North America, East Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, with on‑the‑ground coverage from the United States, Mexico, Uganda, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and her home country, the Philippines. Her work has appeared in global media outlets including The New York TimesBBCAxiosAl Jazeera EnglishRappler, and CNN Philippines.

In 2019, Camille was one of only two Filipinos awarded the prestigious Fulbright–Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship, completing a year‑long professional residency in the United States. She is fluent in Filipino and English, with professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Now based in Auckland, she is pursuing a Master of Technological Futures, focusing on the intersection of emerging disruptive technologies, communications, and social impact.
